IPTV Terminology for Beginners: Portal, Line & Credentials Explained
A few pieces of IPTV jargon get used constantly but rarely explained — here's what they actually mean.
"Line"
Informal shorthand for your individual subscription connection — "my line stopped working" simply means "my account's stream isn't working." It's not a separate technical concept from your regular subscription.
"Portal"

"Credentials"
Your username and password together — the two pieces that, combined with your server URL, authenticate your account.
"MAC"
