IPTV Subtitles Not Showing: How to Enable Them

If subtitles aren't appearing on a channel or VOD title that should have them, here's where to look.
Check the in-player subtitle menu
Most players show a subtitle/CC icon during playback — tap it to see available subtitle tracks and enable one if present.
Not every stream includes subtitle data
Subtitle availability depends on the source broadcast including that data — not every channel or title will have it, regardless of your player app.
Check your device's accessibility settings
Some devices have a system-wide caption setting that can override or interact with in-app subtitle controls — check both if subtitles still won't appear.
For switching between multiple subtitle languages specifically, see our language-switching guide.
