What happens if you let it lapse

If your plan expires before you renew, you'll see an "account invalid or has expired" message when trying to stream. Renewing at that point still restores the same account — there's no penalty for a short gap, just a pause in access until you renew.

Renewing a few days before your term ends avoids any interruption at all. If you know you'll want to continue, there's no downside to renewing early — the new term simply extends from your current expiry date.
