IPTV on Chromecast: How to Cast from Phone or PC
Chromecast (without Google TV) doesn't run apps. It displays what another device casts to it, which is how you use it for IPTV.
Casting from Android
Apps like GSE Smart IPTV have built-in Chromecast casting. See the GSE setup guide. Open the app, tap the cast icon, and select your Chromecast device.
Casting from a browser (Chrome)
Open a browser-based IPTV player (see our browser playback guide) in Chrome, then use Chrome's built-in "Cast" option to send the tab to your Chromecast.
Casting from iOS
Fewer iOS apps support Chromecast. On iPhone or iPad, AirPlay mirroring is usually more reliable, but it needs an Apple TV instead of a basic Chromecast.
