Catch-Up TV Explained: How to Watch Shows You Missed
Catch-up TV is one of the most underused features in an IPTV subscription. This is what it does and how to use it.
What it does
Catch-up lets you watch recently aired programs on supported channels, up to 7 days back on Xtreme HD IPTV's 12-month plan.
How to access it
In most player apps, catch-up lives in the EPG. Select a past time slot on a supported channel and the app offers to play it.
Not every channel supports it
Catch-up depends on each channel's broadcast rights. Major networks support it more often than smaller regional channels.
How it differs from VOD
Catch-up follows the broadcast schedule and recent air dates. VOD (see our VOD explainer) is a separate, curated library of movies and full series unrelated to live schedules.
